Explore the many camping adventures and let us plan your next trip.

Type of Pack Trips:

Create your own private trip - you pick the date and the destination, and we'll plan the rest.

Spot Trips - you ride or hike to your Sierra destination then the packer and stock leave you to your solitude, but return days later for your reluctant departure from paradise. You pick the dates and the destination (Camping Recommendations). Click here for Spot Trip Locations & Pricing.

Mule Assisted Hiking and Custom Trips - similar to a Spot Trip, except that the packer and stock will remain with your party for the duration of your trip.

All Inclusive Trip - all you provide is your sleeping bag, tent, and duffle and we'll do the rest.

Spot Trips

The ultimate in private family-and-friends vacations is the popular and economical 3 to 14 day spot pack trip. We can recommend areas tailored to your desires, but you select the trip destination and date. You supply your own camping equipment (car camping equipment is suitable) and provisions.

Hike, or ride as our sure footed horses and mules carry your supplies over Sierra trails into secluded mountain wilderness. Your friendly packer will advise you on setting up your base camp and then will leave you, your friends and family to "blaze your own trails." You're free to explore fish, hike, observe and photograph nature, or just relax. On the prearranged date, the packer will return to bring you back to civilization

RATES: Charges are based on the number of packers, horses and mules necessary for your trip. The rates are on a per day basis.
