Sign up to join Dave Stamey's Pack trip horseback vacation. This trip that will be presented Aug 22-26 2011 in the John Muir Wilderness out of Mammoth Lakes, California. Limited space available so don't wait!
Enjoy fishing, hiking, riding, photography or just relaxing during this trip into the John Muir Wilderness. Elevations range from about 8,000 to 11, 000 feet. If you enjoy fishing you will be angling for Golden, Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout at the numerous lakes and streams available.
You will only need to bring along your sleeping bag, clothing and personal items. If you would like any special food or snacks please include them in your weight limit of 40# of gear per person.
Our crew will have the tents and sleeping mats set up in camp and the kitchen ready and waiting. The family style breakfasts & dinners along with trail lunches will be prepared by our backcountry cook and we will take care of the livestock and camp needs.
Your personal gear will be carried to camp by our wonderful pack mules led by Dave Stamey and our professional packers. You will ride horseback from Mammoth Lakes Pack Outfit to the wilderness camp. The views will be breath taking.
